Spiritual Power of Plants

Updated: Sep 1, 2022

Our children need the nourishment of leaf and grain, of root and fruit, but they also need some spiritual nourishment, and that comes best in the shape of a fragnant blossom. – Ruskin Bond

Through the ages, shamans, medicine women and men and holy people from all walks of life have sought a clearer understanding of the natural world around them.

Today Flowers have a special presence in our everyday lives. They are a part of rituals across various cultures, from being offered to the deities or to our loved ones, from offering them on shrines to showering them on a newly wedded couple. #Flowers not only bring a touch of joy and beauty in World; they remind us of the #transcendental Nature of Life.

According to the Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, India (also known as Mirra Alfassa), apart from the colour, fragrance, beauty of form, flowers bring something more - an aspiration, an aspect, a psychic giving, wordless prayers of Nature and a progress in the evolution of the Earth.

All these attributes together form the #spiritual significance of a flower. A conscious and intimate relationship with flowers can give an experience of communion with the Divine and awakens the true #consiousness in us.

Everything in Life is Vibration - Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein’s equation E=mc2 has shown us that all life emits vibrational frequencies and everything is essentially energy in different vibrational forms. Even The Buddha said, "Sabbe Dhamma vedana samosarana", anything that arises in the mind starts flowing as a sensation on the body" We each have our own vibrations, and vibrate at our own rate.

Every creation is made up of its own vibration. Our environments, our food, our health care products, even our thoughts can either raise or lower our #vibration and affect our overall health.
